West Australian garden
Surrounding the N1 multistorey car-park of the Clayton Campus, is the West Australian garden featuring a wandering pathway through beautiful natives originating from Western Australia.
The Garden, which includes trees and plants dating back to the 1970s and 80s has evolved, extended and grown over time as this Northern corner of the university has developed significantly in recent years. The Garden was the brainchild of landscape architect Paul Thompson, who contributed significantly to the landscaping of Monash campuses across a 20 year period. Visit this garden to walk amongst the natives of Western Australia, without needing to board a plane! Unusual species include Eucalyptus victrix and Corymbia torrelliana.
