Future students, parents and secondary school teachers are welcome to visit Monash campuses and attend any of our public events, seminar series and presentations to gain insight into courses and careers, pathway information and programs across Monash Faculties.

Open Day is a great opportunity to visit our campuses, participate in various interactive sessions and speak to our staff and current university students to discover what courses and programs are available and how you can plan your further study. Seminar

At Monash Seminars Series

At Monash Seminar Series is a program designed to showcase the range of programs and facilities available across our faculties and campuses. All seminars are held in the evenings (6.30pm - 8pm). 2012 dates are yet to be confirmed.


 

Tertiary Information Sessions

The Tertiary Information Service (TIS) provides free information sessions for Year 12 students about their post-secondary school options, including VTAC application process, course types, costs, scholarships and study advice. Sessions last approximately 1 1/2 hours.

  • Monash Clayton campus: 29 - 31 May and 1 June 2012
  • Monash Berwick campus: 28 May 2012
  • Monash Peninsula campus: 18-19 June 2012
  • Monash Gippsland Campus, 9 - 11 May 2012

Teachers' Seminars

This full-day event is especially recommended for secondary school teachers, including careers practitioners, VCE coordinators as well as Year 11 and 12 coordinators. The program consists of a diverse range of information sessions and workshops with the aim to provide insight into the current directions of Monash University, selection processes, entry schemes, pathways, scholarships as well as new Monash course offerings. 2012 program is yet to be finalized.

 


VCE 2012 Summer School

Highly experienced presenters from Access Education provide key subject information and assessment advice to help students to a postive start. The program is held over four days from 17 -20 January 2012 at the Peninsula Campus, Monash University as well as the Bundoora Campus of LaTrobe University.

English, Physics, Psychology, Legal Studies, Physical Education, Further Maths, Maths Methods, Chemistry, Health and Human Development, Biology, Business Management.
