Individual student assistance
Monash students provide small group or one-on-one tutoring to assist students studying VCE level 3 & 4 units to maximise results and enhance their prospects of studying at university. Tutoring is provided across a range of subject areas within the school's facilities and is highly valued by students.

Study Skills
External presenters are engaged to provide lectures on a range of study teachniques with the aim to enhance students' learning skills and to equip them with tools for exam preparation and subsequent transition to further study. Examples include Time Management, Active Study and Memory Skills. Study Skills workshops can be held in schools or on Monash campuses.

Revision classes
VCE Unit 3 & 4 revision classes are an excellent opportunity for students to thoroughly review course content across selected subjects in preparation for VCE exams. Presented by experienced teachers, the focus of revision classes is to improve students' understanding of examinable material and to increase their confidence and chances to succeed in the final year exams.

Student Q&A Panel
Student Q&A panels provide an opportunity for secondary students to ask current Monash students about university life, courses and their transition from school to a further study. This interactive session allows students to direct the conversation to find out key information to help them make decisions about going to university.

School presentations and workshops
Monash staff members provide group sessions for students from Years 8 to 12. Talks are tailored to a school's need such as: course and career options (what study is needed to get into a chosen career), overview of university courses, application process including SEAS and scholarship applications, information about fees, accommodation options and study abroad.

University campus visits
Campus visits are designed to provide students with an insight into university life, an opportunity to learn about available courses as well as to get accustomed to the university environment. Campus visits may include study skills sessions, campus tours, student Q&A panel as well Faculty-based presentations and workshops.

E-Mentoring
A pilot program in the Gippsland region which utilises electronic technology to connect Y12 students with current Monash students. Following a face-to-face introduction, mentors will support students via an online forum by answering questions about courses, university experience and life on campus to help them make informed decisions about higher education.

Hands on Health
The Hands on Health program is offered to students from schools within the Greater Dandenong region. The program is designed to increase students' understanding of various healthcare professions via work experience and interactive sessions delivered by staff and students from the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
