Mr Trevor O'Hoy
Trevor O'Hoy (BEc 1976) is a high profile businessman and current non-executive director of ASG Group, a leading IT solutions provider in Australia. He is also a current board member of both Cricket Australia and the RACV and current Chair of Monash University's fundraising campaign.
Mr O'Hoy enjoyed a 32-year career at Foster's, a beer group with interests in brewing and soft drinks. He led the company as its President and Chief Executive Officer between 2004 and 2008.
HIs career at Foster's began soon after graduating from Monash in 1976. He joined Carlton and United Beverages (CUB - a division of Foster's Group) as a cadet executive. He moved into several accounting roles before being appointed general manager finance of the company's southern region in 1985.
Mr O'Hoy went on to executive roles responsible for group business planning, strategy and investments, finance and business reengineering, enterprise projects, and strategy and retail.
From 1997 to 2002 he served as chief financial officer and senior vice president of business services at Foster's, responsible for the group's global financial affairs, treasury, strategy, information technology and investor relations.
In 2002 Mr O'Hoy was appointed managing director of CUB and in 2004 President and CEO of Foster's.
Mr O'Hoy resigned from Foster's in June 2008.
Mr O'Hoy received the 2001 Australian INSTO magazine CFO of the year award and was voted by his peers as BRW magazine's most admired new CEO of 2005.
In 2005 he received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Monash University.
In addition to his Monash degree, Mr O'Hoy is a graduate of the AASC Middle Management Program at Mount Eliza, Victoria, and the Harvard Advanced Management Program for international managers.
