Alumni feedback to shape future activities

Monash University will launch a global alumni survey in March 2007.

Alumni relations director Leonie Boxtel said that more than 30,000 Monash graduates will be asked for their thoughts. “We are at an exciting point in planning for alumni relations – there are so many options. The university is committed to enhancing and expanding the program. It’s vital that we know the views of our global alumni to ensure the program is relevant to them.” Ms Boxtel said.

“The survey asks questions about alumni preferences for communications, events and lifelong learning. It also seeks views on other ways alumni might benefit from their affiliation with Monash.”

Consultants ChantLink & Associates will run the online survey. The Alumni Relations Unit will email and post invitations to alumni to participate in the anonymous survey. Respondents enter a secure website to complete the questionnaire. There are also chances to win some great prizes.

“Your opinions will shape what we run in the future. If you receive a survey link, by email or in the post, I would encourage you to go online. Now is the time to give us your feedback and have your say,” Ms Boxtel said.
