Ms Antoinette (Annette) Kimmitt is the Global Middle Market Leader and the Asia-Pacific Accounts Leader at Ernst & Young (EY), one of the world’s largest professional services firms with 190,000 employees in over 700 offices covering more than 150 countries.
She is responsible for leading and executing the firm’s global go-to-market strategy for middle market, and is also responsible for leading and executing the firm’s integrated go-to-market strategy for the Asia-Pacific area.
Ms Kimmitt is also recognised as a leader in empowering women and supporting entrepreneurship. In 2012 she co-founded Scale Investors, Australia’s first seed capital organisation focused on equipping women with the education, funding mechanism and deal flow opportunities to have the confidence to become angel investors and invest in high growth, female-led businesses at an early stage in their development.

With 30 years professional and commercial experience, Ms Kimmitt has gained extensive local and international experience in implementing large, complex change agendas.
Her executive career has included a range of senior roles with EY, the International Accounting Standards Board and the Australian Accounting Standards Board. She was EY’s Melbourne Office Managing Partner and Leader of its Victorian Government Practice from 2009 to 2013.
She was also one of the founding developers of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), working closely with organisations around the world on the adoption and implementation of IFRS. This included the European Commission, the Committee of European Securities Regulators, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the International Organisation of Securities Commissions and the Australian Accounting Standards Board.
In addition to her role at EY, Ms Kimmitt is a Director and Audit and Risk Committee Chair of Airservices Australia and the Melbourne Business School.
She was formerly a director of the Committee for Melbourne and is a former Victorian Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
She has attended executive leadership programs at a range of prestigious universities, including Harvard Business School, INSEAD and the Kellogg School.
