Student residence Farrer Hall, the second of the Halls to be built at Clayon campus, turns 50 this year.

Named in honour and recognition of William Farrer who was a leading Australian agronomist and plant breeder, Farrer's initial intake was in May 1965. Since then there have been more than 10,000 members of the Farrer Hall community.

We are planning to hold a reunion in September this year to celebrate the 50th anniversary and allow former residents to reconnect and reminisce about their time living on campus.

If you (or anyone you know) are a past Farrer Hall resident and are interested in being part of our celebration or would like to help plan the event please email mrs-rsto@monash.edu
