Space Management Policy and Space Request and Space Disposal Application FormsPlease click here to access the Space Management Policy (pdf), the Space Request Application Form (pdf), the Existing Space Template(xls) and the Space Disposal Application Form (pdf) (please see below for editable word versions). The Space Request Application Form (pdf) needs to be completed if you are requesting additional space outside the current allocation occupied by the Faculty/Divisional department or if you are requesting new space and relinquishing current space allocation in existing location(s). The Existing Space Template also needs to be completed. The Space Disposal Application Form (pdf) needs to be completed if you are returning allocated space that is no longer required by the Faculty/Division to the Campus Space Co-ordinator for future allocation, if you are reallocating space to another Department within the Faculty/Division (this must be accompanied by a copy of the "Space Request Application Form"), if you are requesting Faculty managed teaching space to be administered by the University through the Central Support Divisions or if you are requesting allocated space to be returned to the University during an extended period of refurbishment work (only periods greater than three months will be considered). Forms need to be approved/signed by the Dean (if a Faculty application) or the Divisional Director (if a non-Faculty application). Any costs regarding rental of space and refurbishment work, that is not centrally funded, will need to be met by the relevant cost centre. Applications for funding from the central Capital Projects budget for refurbishment work need to be submitted to Facilities and Services. Space can only be returned to the University as a marketable parcel as assessed by the University's nominated Officer. Please note that there is a separate application form for requests for space/occupancy in the new building development. Application forms and attachments need to be submitted to: Helen Dunne |
