How to apply for a course in teacher education

Semester 1 2018 intake
Applications for Semester 1 2018 intake are now open.
Submit your application online through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).
Master of Teaching - Application process for current Monash undergraduate students (domestic applicants)
Monash Education invite students who are currently in their final year of undergraduate study at Monash University to apply for direct entry into the Master of Teaching course instead of using VTAC.
You will be provided with an offer letter pending semester two results conditional on:
- Course completion at the end of 2017
- Achieving a minimum 50% average at the completion of your course meeting English Language requirements
- Satisfying teaching specialist areas if you are applying for either the Secondary or the Primary and Secondary Education specialisation.
- Successfully completing CASPer to an acceptable standard. CASPer is a requirement for many of the initial teacher education courses in Victoria. It is an online tool designed to assess an applicant's personal and professional attributes. Please note November 29, 2017 will be your last opportunity to sit CASPer if you would like to be considered for Semester 1, 2018 intake.
Applications open on 4 September 2017 and close on 1 December 2017.
International applicants - Australian campuses
If you are an international student studying Year 12 or International Baccalaureate (IB) in Australia, apply through VTAC.
