Travelling to and from Clayton campus

Clayton campus is located on the corner of Wellington Road and Princes Highway, 20 km from Melbourne's city centre.

By Public Transport

To get to Clayton campus from the city by public transport, take any of the Dandenong, Pakenham or Cranbourne line trains to Huntingdale station, then take a bus (#630 or 900) to the campus. Buses leave the Huntingdale station for Clayton campus every 15-20 minutes.
Buses stopping at the Clayton bus loop:

630, between Elwood and Monash University
631, between Waverly Gardens SC and Southland SC
691, between Bayswater and Waverley Gardens SC
703, between Blackburn and Middle Brighton
733, between Box Hill and Oakleigh
737, between Croydon and Monash University
802/804/862, different routes between Dandenong and Chadstone SC

Other buses include:

742, between Eastland and Chadstone which stops north of Clayton campus on the University ring road.
800, between Dandenong and Chadstone which stops approximately 0.5km from the University on Dandenong Road.

By Car (Melways ref. 70G10)

From the city, the trip will take about 30 minutes along Citylink (tolls apply) and the Monash Freeway. If using Eastlink (tolls apply) from the north or south, use the Monash Freeway interchange and travel west. If travelling from Melbourne airport add 15 minutes via Citylink (tolls apply).

Parking at Clayton campus

Free parking is available on Clayton Campus in the Blue Parking Bays only. Parking without a permit is available in the blue, red and yellow zones after 5pm on weekdays and all weekend. Please refer to the campus map for blue parking areas.

From the Airport
