How much time does CPD take?
Starting in semester one, 2017, undergraduate Engineering students must meet a CPD time requirement. If you’re part-way through your course, you’ll have already undertaken some CDP-relevant activities that will count towards CPD.
The total number of hours required will depend on how long you have left to go in your course. In other words, the less time before course completion, the fewer CPD hours you’ll need to graduate.
If you’re completing your course by the end of semester one, 2017, you can graduate as usual with no need to fulfil CPD requirements. But, for example, if you haven’t yet enrolled in Engineering, you’ll need to log 420 hours (12 weeks) of CPD activities to graduate.
