Business English Site visit
As part of our English for
International Business Course (EIBC), students have the opportunity
to visit both small and large businesses to observe how communication
networks are established and maintained. We recently visited Bluescope
Steel Limited, a leading steel company in Australia, and heard about
how communication networks operate at the plant level, as well as in
Bluescope Steels global operations. This was a valuable opportunity
for students to practise language and business communication concepts
in an authentic business environment. During a tour of the operations
area, students were also invited to ask questions related to business
processes and related issues. These business visits provide students
with the necessary knowledge to transfer skills more effectively in
the business environment.
