Monash College and Monash University English Language Centre Non-Academic Suspension and Exclusion Policy
Purpose
To provide a consistent and transparent framework to ensure students who display serious misconduct or an illness are able to be suspended and excluded from Monash College and Monash University English Language Centre (MUELC).
Scope
This policy applies to new and continuing Monash College and MUELC students.
Policy Statement
Monash College or MUELC may suspend, exclude, exclude from the precincts of MCPL, refuse to enrol or re-enrol students:
- who are found to have committed serious misconduct or
- who, by reason of the state of health or disability of the person, the relevant Director is of the opinion that such action is reasonably necessary to protect the health or safety of any person (including the person concerned) or the property of MCPL.
