Part 3 - Conditions applying to catering and retail staff

Section 2 - Monash Unicomm Catering and Retail Services Staff Only

  1. Weekend Work for Monash Unicomm Staff

This Part shall apply to all trades and services staff engaged in catering and/or retail services (including Tea Attendants) but does not extend to Sports Control Desk staff employed within the Sports and Recreation Centre on Clayton Campus.

74. WEEKEND WORK FOR MONASH UNICOMM STAFF

The following rates will apply for ordinary hours worked on weekends:

  • Saturday - time and a half
  • Sunday - time and three quarters

Provided that Monash Unicomm retail services staff not previously employed prior to 25 November 1997 shall be paid time and one quarter for ordinary hours worked on Saturdays.
