These workshops are open to managers and supervisors interested in having a better understanding of their obligations under legislation and University policy. Managers have a positive duty under anti-discrimination legislation to prevent discrimination and harassment from occuring at Monash.
Managers and supervisors are responsible for monitoring the study and working environments for students and staff and responding appropriately when concerns are raised. Participants will be introduced to the University’s Discrimination and Harassment Grievance Procedures and how they operate.
Participants will be provided with opportunities to develop and practice skills through experiential activities and case study examples.
EO online training is a pre-requisite for this workshop.
