Mediaflux Digital Asset Management System

An application used to ingest, manipulate and manage digital assets for researchers, in single user or collaborative environments. Allows for the creation and use of customised metadata. Employs stringent access controls.  Please email merc@adm.monash.edu.au

CloudStor

CloudStor is a system for simple and controlled sharing of large data sets/files.

myExperiment

myExperiment is a virtual reality research environment that allows researchers to share digital items associated with their research. Importantly, it allows a researcher to share and execute scientific workflows.  Please email merc@adm.monash.edu.au

The Australian Repositories for Diffraction Images (TARDIS)

TARDIS/MyTARDIS is a data repository system for high-end instrumentation data capture from facilities such as the Australian Synchrotron. The program records the data generated by the experiment, catalogues it and transfers it back to the home institution (where the researcher can analyse the data).

Data Mining

Data mining services at MeRC are offered by the Cognitive and Connectionist Systems Lab (CCSL) of the Faculty of Information Technology. The primary data mining expertise is the exploration and discovery of patterns from diverse sources of data; including stream, web, image, multimedia, structured, semi-structured and unstructured. CCSL also specialises in the following areas,

    * Data Warehousing - Provide end-to-end solutions for data warehouse development in academic, research and business environments.

    * Text Mining - Pre-processing and analysis of very large text corpus, topic modelling and semantic analysis.

    * Process Mining - Pattern extraction from event logs on industrial and business processes.

Furthermore, CCSL develops novel algorithms, solutions and frameworks to address specific problems in data mining. We have nurtured expertise in diverse domains such as eHealth, epidemiology, engineering and social sciences.
