Fee non-payment (encumbrance)

Share
Share

If you don't pay your fees, charges or fines, we place an encumbrance on your Monash account. This means you won't be able to access library, computer or enrolment services. You cannot see your exam results, request academic records (transcripts) or graduate. We will send you a letter if this happens.

If you are encumbered

  • To remove an encumbrance and have access to services restored, you need to pay your debt.
  • Once paid, this may take up to three working-days, regardless of the payment method. For payment options, see pay your fees.

If your access is not returned within three days, you can request help in ask.monash.

If you continue to not pay your debt we will invalidate (cancel) your enrolment.
