Fostering the creation of new Australian music...

A dynamic music precinct

Monash University has a vision to create a cultural, artistic, research and musical hub with a dynamic atmosphere at its Clayton campus to benefit students, staff and the community. The centrepiece of this vision is the creation of a new, iconic, state-of-the-art building for the School of Music – Conservatorium.

The School of Music at Monash is consistently ranked among the best music schools in Australia.  With this exciting new development we will also have the best facilities for our students, staff and the community.

The new building for the School of Music – Conservatorium will provide world-class performance spaces and state-of-the-art education and research facilities, including a recital centre and a “jazz club" style venue. These new facilities will create a strong sense of engagement with the broader campus and the general public and further promote research and scholarship within the School of Music including performance, composition, enthnomusicology and musicology.

A team of senior volunteer campaign leaders head up the campaign for the new building. You can make a donation online today or please contact us for more information.
