Accommodation

Exchange and study abroad students coming to Monash have a range of accomodation options.

On-campus

University owned and operated on-campus accommodation is available at all Victorian campuses except Parkville. 

On-campus accommodation at the Clayton campus is guaranteed for exchange and study abroad students commencing in Monash semester 1 (February) whose applications are received by Monash Abroad by the due date.

Accommodation at the Clayton campus is usually available for all exchange and study abroad students commencing in Monash semester 2 (July) but is not guaranteed.

Accommodation at the other campuses is subject to availability but is usually available for all exchange and study abroad students commencing in either semester, except at Caulfield where on-campus accommodation is limited.

Homestay

Monash operates a homestay service for students who prefer this style of accommodation.  Homestays are available near all campuses except Gippsland.

Off-campus

Students who want to live off-campus need to arrange their own accommodation but advice and assistance are available from Monash Residential Services.
