As we look into the 21st century, the students who will be graduating more and more will be spending their careers in a world where national boundaries will be less and less important. It will be important for them to understand different cultures, to understand the economies of different countries, to understand work practices in other countries and, for those who are involved in research, to have research collaborations spread around the world.
