Explore the life of a Monash IT student:

  • Participate in exciting, practical workshops on programming and network security.
  • Discover the opportunities and possibilities available at Monash IT.  Take a tour of our world leading IT facility.
  • Hear from business futurist, Morris Miselowski on future jobs in technology.
  • Experience the CAVE immersive virtual reality and the world of Swarm Robotics.
  • Talk to IT lecturers and Alumni about the course and what a career in IT holds for you.
  • Meet like-minded students from other schools.

10:00 - 10:30 Welcome and Introduction: IT at Monash University
10:30 - 11:30 Guest Speaker, Morris Miselowski, Australia's 'real world' business futurist, will present on future jobs in technology
11:30 - 12:00 Morning break
12:00 - 13:00 Hands on workshop, part 1
Students will rotate between the following workshops throughout the day:
  • Programming
  • Network Security
  • Cave2 Tour
  • Swarm Robotics
