Monash IT Graduate research – leading the way
Monash University is the only university in Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight (Go8) with a stand-alone faculty just for IT. The sheer size and depth of our program is underpinned by local and international partnerships with industry, governments, communities, professional associations, and other universities. Partnerships like the Monash Data61 partnership, and the Monash Graduate Research Interdisciplinary Program (GRIP).
And it’s these partnerships that give you direct access to industry, the community, and academia, when you do your graduate research with us. Maybe that’s why we attract the highest number of graduate research enrolments of all the Go8 universities. See our rankings.
The research degree journey
Monash IT’s PhD and master’s by research degrees follow the Monash Doctoral Program (MDP). The MDP blends excellent and original research with innovative training options that support you through the research journey, and prepare you for your future careers.
