Description of Organisation
Emma House Domestic Violence Services provides support for women and their children who have or who are experiencing domestic/family violence. Emma House undertakes outreach work, court support, provides accommodation options, assistance into the private rental market, intensive case management, and counselling.
In August 2012 funding was provided for a specialist CLC to be auspiced to Emma House to assist the women and children with legal matters. This is a Pilot Program however we anticipate funding will continue after June 2014 when the Pilot Program finishes based on the stats generated and the fact we have exceeded all projected targets in the first year.

Emma house is currently looking into hosting a Law graduate via the program offered through the Federation of Community Legal Centres.
If successful it will be 1 graduate at a time for a period of 3-4 months.
