As part of one of the world’s leading research universities, Monash Law has a proud commitment to furthering knowledge through legal research.
Our three dedicated legal research centres specialise in the areas of human rights, justice, commercial law and regulatory studies.
Our various research groups also play an important role in exploring specialist areas of study, and sharing their expertise. The Health Law and Society Group, for example, focuses on socio legal studies in health, such as reproduction and gender law, drug and alcohol law and policy, and medical negligence.
Our groups and research centres hold regular events, host international academics, and publish a wide range of research.
