Interviewing researchers toolkit

Interviewing researchers about their data collections

The Research Data Collections Project (2010-2011) developed workflows and templates for initiating and conducting interviews with researchers about their data collections, as well as other documents used for communicating about a project. These tools should be useful to other institutions embarking on ANDS-funded projects, particularly those involving library staff engagement with researchers. The toolkit is focused on eliciting information about existing data collections, with the aim of creating metadata records that meet ANDS standards for contributions to Research Data Australia.
