Take on increasing leadership roles in seminars in your faculty if possible.
To lead a discussion, ensure that you :
- know your material, the content, conceptual framework and background
- clarify your thinking and your particular perspective on the topic
- plan the direction and parameters of the discussion
- learn to listen carefully to others
