Researching skills for Art & DesignEffective research involves reading widely, being observant and experimenting with ideas. Designers and artists research in a variety of ways as they develop their ideas, solve problems, test their solutions and work towards their final artwork, product, prototype, model or plan. One of the ways to begin your research journey is by asking questions and seeking answers. The following pages offer a range of questions, strategies, tips and opinions to help get started.
