Fees and Charges
We don’t believe that booking a ticket should cost you any more than the cost of that ticket itself. So Monash University charges absolutely no booking or transaction fees for booking online, over the phone or in person. Our tickets are deliverable by Print at Home technologies or can be collected at the time of performance. Neither of these delivery options incur fees. If you choose instead to have tickets posted, there is a $5.00 postage and handling fee.
Exchanges
Tickets may generally be exchanged between dates of the same performance, subject to availability. Exchanges must be completed 24hrs prior to the first affected performance and the original tickets must be returned to the Box office. The first exchange on a ticket is complimentary. Subsequent exchanges will be charged at $2.50 per ticket.
Refunds
Please review your event and date selection carefully prior to purchasing as refunds are generally not available except in exceptional circumstances which are outlined in Live Performance Australia’s Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Events in Australia. A copy of the code can be accessed here (link to pdf should we have it somewhere on our servers or can we link to an outside site)
Lost or Stolen Tickets
Tickets are easily reprinted if lost, stolen or forgotten so long as you have provided full name and address details at time of booking. Replacement tickets can only be issued on the day of the event and proof of identity will be required at the point of collection. Management reserves the right to charge a fee of $2.50 per re-issued ticket for this service.
Weather
All events will take place as advertised regardless of weather conditions.
