POPULAR COMEDY SHOW RETURNS DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND!

The comedy show that was billed as one of the most talked about shows of last year will be returning to tourAustralia from September to December this year.

IL DAGO, whose name is a take-off of operatic super group Il Divo, starring four of Australia’s funniest and most versatile comedians George Kapiniaris, Simon Palomares, Joe Avati, and Nish, perform their return show in Sydney on September 5. The show, which is a collaboration of some of Australia’s funniest comedians,grew in popularity at such a rate that following its debut at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival last year, was booked out all around Australia until the end of last year.

The boys performed two sell-out seasons in Sydney, and three in Melbourne with the boys from multi-cultural Australia a hit all over the country, from Sydney to Subiaco.Il DAGO proved their comedy about living in multi-cultural Australia is something everybody relates to, and with their unique comedy and operatic musical finale, is a show unlike any other.

Says comedian George Kapiniaris, “Whether you’re genuinely skippy, or as Mediterranean as fetta cheese, everyone in Australia relates to this show. Our humour covers everything from migrant parents whose traditions are so different from being an Aussie they’re embarrassing, or your out-dated migrant relatives trying as hard as they can to act like a true blue Aussie. It’s classic and relatable stuff that has had hundreds everywhere laughing until they’re red-faced!”
