Monash College Student Support Services

While undertaking your Monash College program in China you have access to a wide range of support services including:

Student Advisors

As a Monash College diploma student you are expected to seek the advice of the teachers or program coordinators whose classes you attend. You may also approach a Student Advisor for advice or referral on issues ranging from academic to emotional and cultural issues.

When consulting with staff, you should bring all relevant program/unit information. Referrals may also be made to other service providers in areas such as health, housing or counseling.

Students should always check with a course advisor when planning their courses and consult the appropriate website for the most up-to-date faculty and course information.

Class Materials Online

Internet access is available for students through the Computer labs and the library. Online learning is used as a support for students. While you are enrolled in a Monash College program, all class materials can be accessed in this way.

For instance, if you did not quite understand a point in the lecture you attended, you can download the lecture from the Internet and hour after it has been delivered and listen again.

Language and Learning Support

Monash College diploma students have access to language and learning support resources and programs to improve their academic English skills and their approaches to study.

Individual appointments are 30 minutes in length and bookings are essential.

Health and Medical Services:

Students have access to the health and medical services available on-campus. Appointments are required. It is also advisable to bring your Monash College student ID.
