Domestic students

VTAC applications

Australian citizens, holders of an Australian permanent residents visa and New Zealand citizens currently studying in Victoria for the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) can apply for admission to Monash College through either:

  1. Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) or
  2. Direct entry, after the VTAC process is complete

VTAC applications are submitted using the VTAC Online Application. Applications open in August of each year for selection into the next year intake.

The VTAC application process is open to:

  • Current Year 12 students (in Victoria and interstate)
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) students in Australia
  • Non Year 12 applicants
  • Applicants studying another Australian Year 12
  • Queensland External Senior students
  • Applicants studying the IB overseas
  • Applicants studying a Year 12 equivalent qualification

Direct application to Monash College

Domestic applicants should make an application directly to Monash College if:

  • they reside outside Australia and are not currently studying Year 12 in Victoria
  • they are applying for the Monash College June or October intakes
  • the VTAC rounds have been completed for February

To apply directly to Monash College in Australia, please download and complete the Monash College Application Form following these steps:

Step 1
Go to online admissions to set up your account and submit your online application.

Download and complete the Monash College Application Form and submit or mail the application form* to:

* Ensure you have the following information:

Step 2
Online applicants: track the progress of your application via your online application account.

Applicants who submit the hard copy (paper) application form: track the progress of your application online.

Step 3
If successful, you will be sent an offer package* including:

  • a letter of offer
  • acceptance documents
  • offer documentation
  • an accommodation guide
  • under 18 guardianship/caregiver details (if applicable)

Step 4
Accept your offer together with your initial payment which includes:

  • 50% of the full tuition fee for your nominated course**
  • completed under 18 guardianship/ care giver documents (if applicable)

Step 5
Once you arrive at Monash, you’ll be assisted through the process of registration, enrolment and familiarisation with Monash University and the College.

NOTES:

* Students who submit an incomplete application may be awarded a conditional offer from Monash. These students will be required to forward the information or supporting documents missing from their original application. Monash will reassess the application and successful students will be awarded a full offer.

** The remaining balance of the tuition fee is payable on a trimester basis. You must pay tuition fees in full before the beginning of each trimester.

Fees

Monash College offers full-fee courses with direct entry into second year of more than 50 selected Monash University degrees providing Monash College results satisfy selection criteria and students are awarded a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP).
