Application process

International applicants who reside outside Australia and who are not currently studying Year 12 in Victoria, should make an application directly to Monash College.

To apply please follow these steps:

Step 1
Go to online admissions to set up your account and submit your online application.

Or

Download and complete the Monash College Application Form and submit or mail the application form* to:

* Ensure you have the following information:

• certified academic results of your most recent qualification
• evidence of English language proficiency
• application for credit transfer (if appropriate)
• A$100 application fee (bank draft or telegraphic transfer)

Step 2
Online applicants: track the progress of your application via your online application account.

Applicants who submit the hard copy (paper) application form: track the progress of your application online.

Step 3
If successful, you will be sent an offer package* including:

• a letter of offer ^†
• acceptance documents
• offer documentation ^†
• an accommodation guide and
• under 18 guardianship/caregiver details (if applicable)

Step 4
Accept your offer together with your initial payment which includes:

• 50% of the full tuition fee for your nominated course**
• Overseas Student Health Cover (12 months if an international student)
• completed under 18 guardianship/ care giver documents (if applicable)

Step 5
Monash College will issue your pre-departure package including:

• a welcome letter
• a Confirmation of Enrolment Form
• a copy of our Passport to Monash booklet (an information guide for international students), and
• a DIAC Confirmation of Accommodation and Welfare Form for under 18s (if applicable)

Step 6

• Arrange your own travel, student visa^, and accommodation (Homestay or Monash Residential Services). Inform Monash College of your plans by returning the Airport Reception Form and Accommodation Form (if required)

Step 7
Once you arrive at Monash, you’ll be assisted through the process of registration, enrolment and familiarisation with the Melbourne and the College.

NOTES:

* Students who submit an incomplete application may be awarded a conditional offer from Monash. These students will be required to forward the information or supporting documents missing from their original application. Monash will reassess the application and successful students will be awarded a full offer.

** The remaining balance of the tuition fee is payable on a trimester basis. You must pay tuition fees in full before the beginning of each trimester.

^ Visa applications can take up to four months or more depending on your nationality and what country you are in.

^† A change of your visa status to Australian Permanent Resident before commencing your Monash College diploma will make this offer invalid. You will need to apply as a Domestic student. Changes to your citizenship status to Australian Permanent Resident while enrolled in a Monash College Diploma also invalidate your offer. If your citizenship status changes you will need to contact your faculty for information about applying for your degree as a Domestic student and the relevant articulation arrangements.

Fees

Monash College offers full-fee diplomas. If you achieve the required grades you will be eligible to enter your chosen bachelors (undergraduate) degree at Monash University.
