Application process

To apply for admission to Monash College in Sri Lanka please follow these steps:

Step 1
Download and complete the Monash College Application Form

Step 2
Ensure you have the following information:

• certified academic results of your most recent qualification
• evidence of English language proficiency
• application for credit transfer (if appropriate)
• Application fee: US$20 (bank draft or telegraphic transfer)

Step 3

• Send your application with payment to:

Step 4
If your application is successful, you will be sent an offer package* including:

• a letter of offer
• acceptance documents
• offer documentation
• documents to apply for a Student visa in Sri Lanka

Please note:

• students must be registered/enrolled to be eligible to make an application for student visa.
• a letter will be issued to the Controller of Immigration & Emigration in Sri Lanka to registered students.
• students will take this letter to be endorsed by the embassy of country of origin.
• students will then take this letter and make an application for Student Visa at the Dept. of Immigration & Emigration in Colombo.
• the visa is deemed valid as long as the student remains as a registered student at ANC.

Step 5
Send the following documents to Australian National College:

• 50% payment of the full tuition fee and the reservation fee for your nominated course must be received prior to commencement of the trimester⁺
• completed documentation required for acceptance of offer
• completed documentation as required for processing of the Student Visa by the Department of Immigration and Emigration

Step 6
If your student visa^ has been approved Monash College will issue an information package including:

• a welcome letter
• a Confirmation of Enrolment Form
• start and orientation dates

Step 7
Arrange your own travel by informing Monash College of your plans.

Step 8
Once you arrive at Monash College in Sri Lanka, you’ll be assisted through the process of registration, enrolment and familiarisation with the College.

NOTES:

* Students who submit an incomplete application may be awarded a conditional offer from Monash College. These students will be required to forward the information or supporting documents missing from their original application. Monash will reassess the application and successful students will be awarded a full offer.

⁺ The remaining balance of the tuition fee is payable on a trimester basis. You must pay tuition fees in full before beginning of each trimester.

^ Visa applications can take up to 4 moths or more depending on your nationality and what country you are in.

Monash College offers full-fee diplomas with direct entry** into selected Monash University degrees.
