About Monash University Foundation Year

Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) is a 12 to 18 month academic program designed to prepare you for university study. It is equivalent to Australian Year 12.

If you study the Foundation Year and meet the required grades, you are guaranteed entry to the first year of a wide range of Monash University bachelor degrees. MUFY is offered by Taylors College in Australia, and is also available through providers in Laos, Jakarta and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru).

The top results for the Monash University Foundation program (MUFY) for December 2006 was gained by Cheng Yuan Xiang, a student from the Sunway University Campus in Malaysia.

Cheng Yuan Xiang achieved the following results: Accounting 99, Economics 99, English 97, Chemistry 97, and Maths A 96, and has accepted an offer to undertake a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) degree at Monash University, Australia.
