Entry requirements and applications

There are three requirements for entry into Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY):

1. English language requirements
2. Age entry requirement
3. Academic entry requirement

English language entry requirement

Standard program: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, with no band less than 5.0

* Intensitve/Accelerated program: IELTS minimum 6.0 or equivalent, with no band less than 5.5

* Check with Provider for local entry requirement.

Age entry requirement

• You must be at least 17 years of age by 31 December to be eligible for admission to Monash University.
• If you do not meet the above criteria, but would otherwise have been offered a place, you will be offered a deferred place to be taken up when the age criterion is met.

Academic entry requirement

You must have Australian Year 11 or equivalent to enter MUFY.
