Background image file prevents students viewing section content

Symptoms

When students access a section an 'Unexpected system exception' error is displayed.

The section home page contains a background image file. This image file causes the 'Student view' tab and Student views to break, resulting in the 'Unexpected system exception' error being displayed.

Low

May affect teaching staff or students where a background image is used in a section.

Resolution

The vendor is aware of the problem.

Workaround

Remove the background image file: once this is done, students will be able to access the section and view it correctly.
