Education Technology Roadmap

Education Technology Roadmap

The University’s new Education Technology Roadmap was launched to over 50 Monash staff at its inaugural showcase event last Thursday. This showcase was the first in a series demonstrating progress of the Roadmap’s key initiatives.

Delivered in partnership between the Office of the Vice-Provost (Learning and Teaching) and eSolutions, the Roadmap supports learning by capitalising on innovations in our evolving technology landscape and is a series of integrated initiatives that deliver to academics the technology solutions to enable our Better Teaching, Better Learning Agenda.

Each initiative is student-focused, has broad application across all faculties and is flexible to the needs of individual students and academics. Areas of focus include learning analytics, augmented reality and enhanced live audience feedback.

Feedback from the inaugural Showcase was very positive with George Kotsanas, Academic Director, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences commenting, "The showcase was a terrific opportunity to hear about and discuss the exciting educational technologies that Monash will introduce to support our educators with their teaching and students with their learning."

Showcases will be held every seven weeks and provide attendees the opportunity to learn more about the development and progress of the Roadmap’s initiatives.

The next Showcase will be held on Wednesday 24 August from 2 to 3.30pm at Clayton campus and online registrations are now open.
