myResearch enters next phase
The next phase of myResearch will go live on on Tuesday 12 July, 2016.
myResearch gives Monash staff a single point of access to systems and information about grants, contracts, research outputs and ethics applications.
It is designed to help researchers, management and professional staff save time throughout each step of the process.
The next phase of myResearch includes the launch of the new research management system – Pure.
By using Pure, staff can lodge research funding applications; access information about awarded grants and contracts; capture research outputs; record prizes and distinctions; create CVs; and display research achievements.
It is an intuitive, easy-to-use system which features editable web profiles and personalised CVs that can be created directly from Pure.
The next phase of myResearch will also see the release of application forms for human ethics in Infonetica’s Ethics Review Manager (ERM) – to help further improve the speed and efficiency of research ethics applications.
myResearch will replace a number of current systems, including ROPES. As a result, a large amount of data is currently being migrated from the existing systems into the new ones.
This will allow researchers to have continued access to their past research activity information, and professional staff can continue to undertake administrative processes.
In order to provide sufficient time to migrate the large volume of data, editing rights to ROPES will soon be removed so that data can be moved across to Pure.
On Friday 10 June, ROPES will be changed to read-only which means profile updates will no longer be possible.
