Description

The Engaging STEM Education seminar series intends to explore various aspects of STEM education with a focus on implications for learning and teaching.

The final in this series for 2017 challenges us to think about the possibilities inherent in this construct by questioning - what are the contemporary practices underpinning Primary STEM education?

A panel of educators will provide practical insights into their thinking and experiences while focusing on:

  • classroom planning and teaching
  • building partnerships with outside organisations to enhance STEM education
  • strategic approaches for sharing STEM experience and expertise.

Opportunities will be provided for participants to discuss their related experiences and practices with colleagues, before moving into a sharing session for further conversation and ideas about the practice of STEM education.

Light refreshments will be provided.
