Continuing until 9 August at Switchback Gallery, Gippsland Centre for Art and Design is Hand / head / heart, an interactive collaborative evolving art event.

Artmaking uses the whole person -- the physical body acts, the intellectual faculties are engaged and the emotional life of the artist colours the whole. They form a synthesis which represents our whole humanity. This is embodied knowledge, a holistic way of responding to the world, which our increasingly compartmentalised and segmented life alienates from us. You are invited to participate. Just follow the simple directions. You don't need to bring any equipment -- just your hand, your head and your heart.
