Welcome to Monash Gippsland!
On behalf of the Monash University Gippsland Student Union (MUGSU), I would like to welcome new students to the Monash Gippsland campus.
You will soon discover that university is not just about education and getting a degree, but about the experience. MUGSU is here to help you find that balance between work and play, with a range of social opportunities for you to enjoy.
As a student of the Gippsland campus, you are now automatically a member of MUGSU and welcome to use our facilities and services. We offer a wide range of services to ensure that your student experience is both rewarding and memorable.
There are also many events held by MUGSU throughout the year, including live music, DJs, BBQs, sporting events and plenty of awesome themed and fancy dress parties!
As well as events, MUGSU also provides funding for multiple clubs and societies. This year we're devoting even more time and resources to clubs and societies. If you have an idea for a new club or society, or would like to join an existing one, please come in and find out more!
As well as the fun stuff, MUGSU also provides support, advocacy and representation for all students when the going gets tough.
Our student lounge is located right at the heart of the campus. It’s available at any time for peaceful study, or to unwind with a free tea or coffee. Additionally, we have facilities where you can study in a more private environment in Building 7N. If you wish to visit or study there, contact us to find out more.
