Brad - a rural student's story

students on lawn

Coming from the small country town of Bunyip, I really didn't know what to expect from the Caulfield campus of Monash University. I chose the Caulfield campus because of its small size and the community feel I experienced on Open Day. After my first week, I wasn't disappointed. As Caulfield is a small campus, it was so easy to make and keep new friends. I found myself running into everyone in between classes on the lawn and in the student lounge. It wasn't long before I was able to meet a housemate and move into an apartment. Now a couple of months down the track I still love Monash Caulfield (and my housemates). It is all so different from the country but it still has that community feel I love so much that it never feels too far from home!
