Abstracts

Registrants are invited to submit abstracts for consideration of presentation as posters; some may be chosen for oral presentation. Abstracts should be submitted as a WORD file via email to intl.polymyxin.conf@gmail.com. The closing date for submission of abstracts is 1 July 2015.

We most strongly urge you to register for the conference well ahead of the abstract closing date as places for attendees at the conference are very limited. Submission of an abstract without registration will not guarantee your ability to attend the conference.

Abstracts will be subject to a blind peer review by at least three members of the Organising Committee. Authors will be notified via email of acceptance by 15 July 2015. If your abstract is not accepted and you choose to not attend the conference, you would be eligible for a full refund of your registration fee. If you choose to not attend for any other reason, the conference cancellation and refund policy will apply.

Abstract requirements

The requirements are essentially those used for ICAAC/ICC 2015. Abstracts presented at ICAAC/ICC 2015 can be re-presented at the 2nd International Conference on Polymyxins.

  1. Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English using UK English spelling. Use standard English grammar rules, including a space after full stops and commas.
  2. Structure your abstract using the following headings: Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
  3. The abstract text may not be longer than 2,500 characters, including title, authors, affiliations and spaces. Tables, charts and other graphics are permitted. Embedded figures must be of high resolution.
  4. Arial size 11 font should be used.
