Our postgraduate studies in wound care are designed for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, podiatrists, dieticians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other health professionals who want advanced wound-management skills.

Study options range from single units to masters.

Our qualifications

Graduate Certificate in Wound Care – provides the theoretical foundations for contemporary wound-care practice.
Duration: 1.5 years, part time
Study mode: off campus

Graduate Diploma in Wound Care – explores areas of specialty practice and develops competency in specialist wound-care skills.
Duration: two years, part time
Study mode: off campus but includes a compulsory, one-week study block in Melbourne, comprising practical workshops, lectures and wound-clinic observations.

Master of Wound Care – prepares health professionals for advanced practice.
Duration: four years, part time
Study mode: off campus but includes a compulsory, one-week study block in Melbourne, comprising practical workshops, lectures and wound-clinic observations.

Application open and closing dates

  • Semester one: 1 September - 30 November each year.
  • Semester two: 1 March - 31 May each year.
