All academic areas on all campuses of the University, including faculties, schools, departments, centres, institutes, disciplines or cross-disciplinary areas.
Monash University undertakes academic reviews to:
Academic reviews will focus on a school, department, centre, institute, discipline or cross-disciplinary area. The faculty may be the focus where it has no schools or departments. A review may focus on academic areas that span more than one faculty, school or department.
Academic reviews may be initiated as an outcome of the annual faculty strategic planning process. Deans (or Pro Vice-Chancellors of offshore campuses) and/or the Provost or Vice-Chancellor may elect to review academic areas at any time.
