1. There shall be a Graduate Diploma in Reproductive Sciences (GradDipRepSc) which shall be awarded in one grade only. 2. In these regulations: 3. An applicant for admission to candidature shall apply in writing to the registrar. 4. An applicant for admission to candidature for the diploma shall be a graduate of this university or some other university or institution in any of the medical, paramedical, biological, agricultural or veterinary science fields recognised for the purpose by the Academic Board. 5. The course for the diploma shall be completed in not less than one academic year by full-time candidates, and in not less than two academic years by part-time candidates. The candidate shall complete such courses of study as are prescribed from time to time by the Institute for Reproduction and Development on the recommendation of the director of the institute. 6. The examinations for the diploma shall be held in such manner as the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences may from time to time determine on the advice of the director of the institute. 7. A candidate shall comply with these regulations as from time to time amended or remade provided that where the faculty board is of the opinion that any candidate for the diploma has been adversely affected by a change in these regulations since the candidate first enrolled as a candidate for the diploma, the faculty board may act to remove the adverse effects on the candidate by permitting him or her to qualify for the diploma under these regulations as if they were in force without the particular change or changes which adversely affected the candidate. |
