About ROPES

ROPES Released: Thursday 9th March 2006 via My.Monash portal

ROPES is a subset of the TARDIS web application and as such, shares many similarities. However, it has been designed with the requirements of the academic researcher in mind. It will - no doubt - be most useful in pulling together the various data required for tracking an individual's research activity; ahead of the Research Quality Framework (RQF) exercise.

In addition, it will aid in establishing collaborative research links. Details of a  researchers' projects - as determined by the researcher him/herself,  can be made available for others to view by way of a keyword search.

Like TARDIS, it is special in that it is able to pull data together from the University's three entirely separate enterprise databases:

  • SAP HR/Finance
  • Callista
  • ResearchMaster
