Getting Started

ResearchMaster (including PWI)

There are three steps to getting started with ResearchMaster:

1. Training
2. Installation
3. Access

Note: Installation is not required for PWI-only users.

Access Publications Web Interface (PWI)

1. Go to the PWI Production Database login page
2. Login with the username and password supplied (this is the same as your RM4 login)

• Access the PWI Training Database

ROPES

1. Log into the "My.Monash" portal.
2. Click on the "Teaching and Research" tab.

Note: At this stage, not all users of the portal can see and use ROPES - you are required to be an academic researcher employed by Monash University.

TARDIS

At this stage, TARDIS access is only granted with permission from the Director of the Monash Research Office. There is a new data warehouse currently in development and is expected to replace TARDIS in the second half of 2007. If you have been denied TARDIS access, you will be notified when the new version becomes available.

1. Complete the TARDIS Access Request form (doc 97kb, pdf 56kb )
2. Have the form signed by your DVC/PVC, Dean, Associate Dean of Research or Head of Department
3. Forward to the Manager, Research Information Systems Team

For those with TARDIS access:

1. Go to the 'Connect to TARDIS' page.
2. Login using your Authcate username and password.
