Personnel Maintenance

Instructions

RM4 users with data entry access may only create external personnel (i.e. persons from external organisations or other educational institutions).

To create or modify internal personnel records in RM4 (i.e. records pertaining to Monash University staff or students), or to modify external personnel after initial creation - users need to complete a personnel request form.


Web Form  (to create or modify internal personnel)

  1. Select "Create New" or "Modify Existing" from the orange box at the top of form. A set of fields to complete will appear.
  2. If you have selected "Create New", please ensure you have selected "Staff Member" or "Student".
  3. If you have selected "Modify Existing", enter the requested modification in the "Please Specify Nature of Change" text box at the bottom of the form.

Note: You can enter up to 15 personnel on the same form, as long as they are the same type (e.g. all new personnel). To do this simply click the big red button which says "Modify a Second Person Record" or "Add a Second New Person".


Duplicate Personnel Records

If you find duplicate personnel codes for a person in RM4, please advise the RM4 Service Desk by email: rm4service@adm.monash.edu.au.
