Climate change and weather
We have assembled an expert team to provide guidance on all weather and climate related issues: Monash Weather and Climate.
Our team tackles problems relating to some of mankind's greatest challenges: predicting the weather and climate from days to weeks to months to years and even centuries ahead.
This knowledge will help researchers, policy-makers and the broader community better understand the implications of climate change for Australia and the world at large.

Working with industry
Monash has strong partnerships with the Bureau of Meteorology and the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Division.
We are also a major contributor to the research and development of the Australian Community Climate and Earth System Simulator, Australia's national weather and climate prediction system.
Our experts are also working with industry through the Centre for Water Sensitive Cities to deliver cooler, healthier and more water-secure cities. This partnership also helps emergency management authorities throughout Australia to better respond to extreme temperatures expected under climate change.
